NCSOFT has announced its brand-new cross-platform MMORPG title set in the world of Sony’s sci-fi Horizon franchise, Horizon Steel Frontiers, which also marks the first-ever MMORPG title in the Horizon universe.

Horizon Steel Frontiers is revealed with an announcement video, showcasing its primary gameplay and the game’s visuals of the franchise’s iconic mechanical creatures and monsters on the Deathlands.
Based on the video, Horizon Steel Frontiers’ core gameplay will focus on hunting, where players will take on the role of Horizon’s classic tribes: Nora, Tenakth, Utaru, or Oseram and play as monster hunters in the region called Deathlands. Players can take these monsters down or just use them as mounts.

This MMO take on the Horizon series is going to be a massive multiplayer battle, as players will be sharing the entire Deathland with other players to hunt in the wilds together and fight against the other tribes for resources.
The Horizon Steel Frontier is developed and published by NCSOFT and set to launch for iOS, Android, and PC via Purple soon, with no specific date of release yet.
